Payment and Refund Policy
Last Updated: 13 October 2026
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases and bookings made through encorezenix. It explains how payments are processed, when contracts are formed, your cancellation rights, and the conditions under which refunds may be issued. The policy is governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, and relevant provisions under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Scope of the Policy and Services Covered
This policy covers all paid professional resources offered by encorezenix, including access to studio production courses, video modules on equipment setup, camera operation, lighting techniques, sound engineering, and workflow optimisation for television and live production. It applies to one-time purchases, subscription access, and any bundled digital content. Physical goods are not offered. The policy does not cover free introductory materials or third-party services accessed through external links.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable and shown separately at checkout. No hidden fees apply for standard digital delivery. Additional charges may arise only if you select optional add-ons such as extended access periods or personalised support sessions, which are clearly itemised before payment confirmation.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Payment is authorised at the time of order placement. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant gateways. encorezenix does not store full card details. Authorisation holds may appear on your statement until the transaction completes. If payment fails, you will receive immediate notification and the order will not be confirmed.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
A contract is formed when you receive an email confirmation after successful payment. This confirmation summarises the purchased resources, access duration, and total amount paid. Until this point, no binding agreement exists. You are responsible for checking the confirmation email for accuracy.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under UK consumer law you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of contract formation during which you may cancel without reason. However, for digital content, this right is lost once download or streaming access begins if you have expressly consented to immediate access and acknowledged that the right will be lost. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time but will run to the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available within the cooling-off period if access has not commenced. Once you have started viewing course modules or downloaded materials, refunds are not provided except in cases of technical fault on our side or duplicate billing. Promotional or discounted purchases, completed subscriptions, and services already rendered are non-refundable. Refunds will not be issued for change of mind after access has begun.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us in writing via the form on our Contacts page or by emailing [email protected]. Include your order reference, full name, and a clear statement of the reason. Requests must be made within the applicable time limits. You will receive an acknowledgement within two working days.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision
Our team will review your request against the eligibility criteria within ten working days. You will be notified by email of approval or rejection together with the reasons for any refusal. If approved, the refund will be processed without further action from you.
Refund Method, Processing Time and Receipt of Funds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days, while PayPal refunds process within three working days. Bank transfers may take up to fifteen working days depending on your provider. You will receive confirmation once the refund has been issued.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions and Promotional Offers
Digital access begins immediately upon payment confirmation unless you opt out of instant access. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Promotional offers are subject to the same refund rules unless the offer explicitly states otherwise. No refunds are given for partially used subscription periods.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
Failed payments result in order cancellation. Duplicate charges will be refunded automatically upon detection. Chargebacks are investigated and may lead to account suspension if found to be unjustified. Suspected fraudulent activity will be reported to the relevant authorities and access suspended pending investigation.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to receive services with reasonable care and skill, or remedies for faulty digital content. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
